Simulation Tests
Integrity Testing for Packaged Products weighing more than 150 lbs.

FedEx requirements state that any shipment weighing more than 150 lbs. contain a base that allows movement with a forklift or standard freight pallet jack,
the strength of the shipping containers base is also tested for mechanical handling.

All Domestic shipments containing medical items, electronics or items that are powdered  are subjected to the following:

  1.  Side impact test
  2. Bottom impact test
  3.  Tip test
  4. Raised edge impact test
  5. Raised corner impact test
  6. Compression test
  7. Random vibration test

Domestic shipments not containing the previously mentioned items are subjected to the following test:

  1. Side impact test
  2. Bottom impact test
  3. Tip test
  4. Raised edge impact test
  5. Raised corner impact test
  6. Compression test
  7. Random Vibration test
